Zumba

Estoy determinada a recordar y suguir a aprender mas.

Entonces, ella no murió.

I found my buddy  Mau while visiting Cynthia!  When I asked for help finding her house after I got off the bus in her town.... it was his dad who helped me... small world I didn´t even know he lived there!

I haven´t written in a while for several reasons-

1.  There is so much to do that I don´t often want to spend much time at school using the computer... and at home I don´t have one to use at night.

2.  I feel like I´m using all of my language mental capacity to speak and write spanish.... so had none left for english expression.

3.  There have been a lot of days where I was pretty frustrated, and didn´t really want to talk about that.

- Today it is raining... so I will post some highlights of my time thus far.  enjoy

You Know You´re Becoming a Tico/Tica When...

75 degrees is cold
Three dogs follow you wherever you walk in town
The secretary at your school gets food delivered by the bus driver, who is her husband.
Your address is something like... 500 meters from the bank, after the alley, yellow with black bars
You eat rice and beans at every meal
An entire family can transport themeslves using one bicycle
You see everyone that you know in town in one trip to the bus stop
You say "adios" when walking by instead of "hola"
You wake up, try to put on your shoes, and are informed by your host dad that they have been placed on the roof to dry (and so nobody will steal them).
You take a pilgramage to the Maxi Pali (walmart) and celebrate after missing the stop and walking 3 km down the highway, through the forest, to get there.
You are riding the bus and need to get off so that it can go over the bridge - it will come back to pick you up after picking up the people that live over there.
